Where do you source your animals?

We work with a variety of breeders, farmers, pet stores, rescues, vet offices, and more for our animals. We check all sources meticulously. If there is ever any question about how an animal dies or sourcing, we will not work that animal or provider.

Are you on Faire?

How does NET30 work?

Once your order is submitted, we’ll process it as usual and send an invoice once your order ships. Payment is due in full within 30 calendar days from the invoice date. You can pay your invoice at any time before the due date using the payment instructions provided on the invoice. All invoices will be sent via Clover.

Invoices not paid by the due date may result in late fees and/or a temporary hold on your account until the balance is resolved. Continued late payments may result in the removal of NET 30 privileges.

How long will my order take to ship?

Our current lead times are visible at the top of our website. These times may change depending on our preservation schedule, events, and other factors. 

Shipping Policies:

Please make sure your shipping address is correct at checkout. Packages are shipped to the address you provide at checkout. Orders are not refunded for lost or undeliverable packages due to an incorrect address being provided. Once your order has shipped, we are unable to redirect your package. 

If you are an international customer, please know your country's laws pertaining to the types of products you are ordering. You are responsible for following your local laws. We are not responsible for any lost, delayed, or confiscated packages.

Broken Items & Returns:

If you have any broken items, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order. We will replace or refund any broken or damaged items as soon as possible. 

If you are unhappy with any of the items in your order, please reach out to us within 7 days of receiving your order. You will be responsible for returning your products to us, including shipping fees. Once we have received your return, and checked conditions of the products, we will begin processing a refund.

If you are an international customer, we are unable to process any refunds. All international sales are final. 

Privacy:

Privacy matters! Shopify has SSL certificates, and will protect you and your information. Mz. Jones' Curio will not sell, transfer, or use your information for anything other than processing your orders. 

Who is Mz. Jones' Curio?

Mz. Jones' Curio is a family-owned business. Britney has been collecting trinkets, treasures, and all things odd since she was a kid. Neil has a background in funeral directing, handling over 1000 cases in his career. When they were expecting their first child, they decided to start a small business so Britney could stay home and care for their son and also make a little money. Neil trained her on proper embalming techniques, while she studied taxidermy, mummification, and bone cleaning. They have been providing professionally preserved oddities and taxidermy since 2015.

Their team has grown into a great group of humans who help make products, pack and ship orders, travel to conventions, and keep things at our main retail location running smoothly. 

Do you ship internationally?

While we can't ship many of our specimen pieces, we are able to ship some of our other oddity related items. To see what items we are able to ship, click on the "United States USD $" link at the top of the page and select your country. Items we can ship to your country will show.
We are NOT responsible for any import fees, confiscated, lost or missing packages. Please know your country's law when it comes to international purchases.
